Well, it’s here – the day I leave San Francisco. I’m hitting the road for the long drive up to Portland, where I’m going to crash with my parents for a week. It’s free rent, free food, and waterskiing on the riving for me.
I’m so sad to be leaving my friends and loved ones here, but that’s all part of the deal, I guess. We all went to see Sex in the City last night, and it was a fitting farewell – a testament to best friends. It’s a huge comfort to know I’ve got my family here to come home to when this adventure is over.
