Book List

September 16th, 2008 · No Comments

One of the best parts of this trip for me has been my return to my bookworm roots. I’ve kept up a pretty constant rate of reading, and this, more than anything, is something I hope I can keep up once I get home.

Here’s the partial list:

Assasination Vacation – Sara Vowel
Better – Atul Guwande
The Windup Bird Chronicles – Haruki Murakami
After Dark – Haruki Murakami
The Ladies of Grace Adieu – Susanna Clarke
Prelude to Foundation – Isaac Asimov
Foundation – Isaac Asimov
Equal Rites – Terry Pratchett
Good Omens – Terry Pratchett and Niel Gaiman
Neverwhere – Neil Gaiman
Quicksilver – neal Stephenson
Shakespeare – Bill Bryson
Three Cups of Tea – Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin
The Agony and the Ecstasy – Irving Stone
The Orientalizt – Tom Reiss
When You Are Engulfed in Flames – David Sedaris

THere’s 4 or 5 that I’m forgetting, but that’s the list so far. I’m currently reading The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chambon (thanks for the recommendation Jeff!) , with Kafka on the Shore by Murakami up next.
